SATIREV PROJECTS
A volunteer-led community project rooted in connection—welcoming shared experiences through creativity and storytelling.

SATIREV PROJECTS: Creating Community and Connections
SATIREV began as a single creative project aimed at giving the endometriosis community a space to share their experiences—honestly, openly, and in their own way. What started as a simple idea grew into a four-year journey, resulting in the publication of two books (a poetry collection and a wider anthology), a powerful awareness campaign, an art gala, and exhibitions in both the UK and USA.

The response from contributors was overwhelming. Many reported personal growth, increased confidence, a deeper understanding of themselves, and improved wellbeing through participating in the project. It became clear that this work had the power to do more than raise awareness—it was building real community and connection.

Motivated by this impact, the SATIREV Project team is now exploring a new theme: being a woman. A dedicated group of volunteers will collaborate with submitted artworks and literary pieces to produce a new publication—and potentially more, depending on where the creativity leads.

SATIREV Projects remain rooted in the belief that everyone’s story matters. Through collective storytelling and creative expression, we aim to foster healing, connection, and understanding—one voice at a time.
Our Projects
All of our projects are inspired by personal experiences and passions. Each one is entirely volunteer-led, driven by a shared commitment to community and creativity. Through art, literature, and research, we explore meaningful themes and share the stories of the wider community. Our aim is to foster empathetic learning, provide support, deepen collective understanding, and build strong connections within and beyond the communities we engage with.

Endometriosis
Project 514 415 was the spark that lit everything.

It began during the early days of COVID, in a hospital room where our founder was recovering from surgery. Despite the isolation, a brief exchange with a fellow endometriosis patient and the care of dedicated nurses planted a powerful seed: what if we could create something that helped others feel seen, heard, and connected—even in their most difficult moments?

That idea grew into a vibrant, four-year journey—a creative and heartfelt project combining art and literature to share the lived experiences of those with endometriosis. The result was a global movement of storytelling, connection, and advocacy that touched lives around the world.

What started from a moment of solitude became a collective voice—stronger, braver, and louder than ever imagined.

Being a Women
Introducing our upcoming Art & Literature project titled 'Being a Woman.' We invite you to submit your art and literary works that reflect your experiences or inspirations surrounding the meaning of womanhood. Your submissions can draw from your personal experiences, or be inspired by someone you know, a celebrity, or a figure who has impacted women's history.
We would also like to acknowledge Artist Macarena, whose work inspired the textile wall hanging featured in this exciting new project.
