Our Projects

All of our projects are inspired by our own experiences and interests, which we aim to explore and share the stories of the wider community through art, literature and research to foster empathic learning, support, create a wider understanding and a connection to the community.

Endometriosis

Project 514 415, was our first project, born from a hospital bed during COVID, whilst our founder spent a week recovering from surgery with only the nurses company & a quick hello from a fellow endometriosis patient. It took over a year for Verity to have the confidence to action her vision of empowering the endometriosis community to share their experiences their way. This little idea & impactful art & literature submissions inspired a 4 year project dedicated to sharing the lived experiences of endometriosis, which has been shared around the world.

Menopause

Our menopause project is rooted in our personal experiences with chemical menopause. At one point, four members of our team were placed on medication induced menopause, and we faced a multitude of challenging symptoms.

We are currently researching the lived experiences of menopause and would appreciate it if you could share your own experiences by completing one of our menopause surveys.

We aim to examine the various types of menopause—Early, Surgical, Chemical/Medication-Induced, and Natural.

Being a Women

Introducing our upcoming Art & Literature project titled 'Being a Woman.' We invite you to submit your art and literary works that reflect your experiences or inspirations surrounding the meaning of womanhood. Your submissions can draw from your personal experiences, or be inspired by someone you know, a celebrity, or a figure who has impacted women's history.

We would also like to acknowledge Artist Macarena, whose work inspired the textile wall hanging featured in this exciting new project.

Meet The Project Team
