Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is a wheelchair accessible venue. If you have any access requirements to support your attendance, please let us know when booking your tickets.

What chairs do you have at the venue?

Seating us unallocated and on a first come, first served basis. Workshops and keynote speaker events will take place in different rooms, with different seating options.

I need to bring a carer / personal assistant, am I able to attend?

Of course. All carers and assistant tickets are discounted. We made the executive decision to keep the event tickets as low as possible to enable the event to be finically accessible to all, therefore we are unable to give free carer tickets without increasing our ticket price.

Is there reserved seating for disabled people & their carer / personal assistant?

Each room will have 'accessible' seating areas, much like TFL these will be down to descension of our guests, in which we ask that these seats are kept free for disabled guests & their carer or personal assistant, until the start of the event in which these seats will be able to be used by anyone.

I have a guide dog / assistance dog, am I able to attend?

Yes, please let us know when booking your ticket.

Is a quiet or/ and sensory room available?

We would love there to be a quiet room and a sensory room, unfortunately we do not have the funding  or a sponsor  at the moment to fund these rooms. If this changes we will update this information.

I am neurodivergent and can struggle with communication what provisions have been made?

All our vendors, speakers, and workshop host are aware that this event supports neurodivergent people, in which they will be given information on how to support communication with our neurodivergent guests. If you require any specific  accommodations we ask that you state this to our staff.   

TICKETING

Is there a minimum age to attend?

All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend the SATIREV SHOW but anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Do I have to pre-book my ticket?

Yes- space is limited

Do you offer free tickets?

We hope to make our event as accessible as possible to all who would like to join, in which we have several avenues for funded tickets, 1) give aways with our exhibitors and local community organisations, 2) Pay it forward tickets which we will realise at the end of April.

I work with a community group. Can we book multiple tickets?

Yes you can, please email us directly to see how we can best support your group attending. As arrangements can be made for a private talk or / and workshop with your group.

I am a male will I be able to attend?

Yes, we encourage and welcome men / husbands / boyfriends/ brothers/ sons / dads / male teachers or employers etc  to attend, in which we will even have set sessions just for you.

I have a baby / young children will I be able to attend with them?

Yes, you will have full access to our exhibition which host many charities & organisations who can give you advise & answer your questions, we are also working on providing set parent with baby / child workshops. please note you will be unable to attend our speaker events & standard workshops.

I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community will I be welcome?

Yes, everyone is welcome.

CATERING

What catering will there be?

There will be a range of refreshment, snacks, treats and breakfast / brunch / lunch options, from a variety of local food vendors.

GETTING TO THE VENUE

How do I get to the venue? 

Please use the postcode BA2 7AD on any navigation apps. A number of different buses stop near the venue; First 20, X86, R2, First 2. There is also a bike rack on site, and the nearest train is Bath.

Is there onsite parking?

Yes, there is free parking onsite, these will be ran on a first come first served basis.

Is there disabled parking?

Yes, there are a limited number of disabled parking bays within a separate disabled carpark, these will be ran on a first come first served basis. 

ATTENDING SESSIONS

How can I find out more about the programme?

We will be publishing a final program in April, this enables us to keep adding rooms to host more speakers and workshops as ticket sales increase. Please check our website for up to date information of all confirmed workshops and speaker events to date.

I have a large group of people attending can we pre-book a session so that we can all attend?

We are unable to reserve a set amount of seats for events running throughout the day, nonetheless, we maybe able to host a private group session for you and your group. Please contact us directly to discuss this further.

Can  I prebook individual sessions?

We are unable to offer bookings for individual timetabled sessions. Admission to these will be on a first come, first seated basis. Nonetheless, we can organisation private group sessions, please contact us directly to discuss at  info@satirev.net

Can I join the event at any time?

Yes, you are welcome to join us at any point during the day. The exhibition hall will be open from 9-5, and there will be talks and workshops running throughout the day.

Will you provide a cloakroom or bag drop of area?

No, we are unable to provide a cloakroom or a bag drop of area.

Will there be filming or photography at the event?

Filming and / or photography will be taking place throughout the day by guests who agree to be filmed / photographed. We will not take photos or film people at random throughout our event. Consent will be gained prior to taking any photos or video footage.

I would like to host a workshop and / or a be a keynote speaker, is this possible?

I would like to be a vendor, is this possible?

This depends on space, we only have a limited number of vendor spaces, please contact us at info@satirev.net for further information
