What will happen to my art submission
All submissions will be stitched to create a wall hanging that will be displayed at The Hall during their Easter Fair. After the fair, the wall hanging will be featured at the SATIREV SHOW in Bath. After the SATIREV SHOW, The Hall and SATIREV will work together to explore the future of 'Being a Woman' art submissions, ensuring they continue to be showcased and shared within the community. This may lead to the collection being restructured or modified.
Can I get my artwork back?
Since all artworks will be combined to form a collaborative piece, we will not be able to return submissions to the artists. Please submit only those art pieces that you are willing to donate to The Hall and SATIREV.
Will I get credit for my work?
All artists will be credited as collaborators on the 'Being a Woman' art piece. Please make sure to include the name you wish to have published; you can write it on the 2-inch border or pin it to your artwork. Any artworks without a name will be listed as Anonymous.
How many artworks can I submit?
Feel free to submit as many as you like; there are no restrictions
Will I have to attend 'Easter at The Hall' or The SATIREV SHOW?
You can simply submit your artwork; there are no requirements for attending any of The Halls or SATIREV events.
Will I have to pay to submit my artwork?
Participation in 'Being a Woman' is FREE of charge.
How can I see the finished art piece if I do not attend Easter at The Hall or The SATIREV SHOW?
We will photograph the artwork and share it on our social media as well as in our newsletter. We’d be delighted to tag artists in our posts, so please include your social media handle if you’d like us to do so.
